the purpose of this exercise is to lighten the greyscale tomes of one color, while darkening the other and then repeat the process but changing which colour is lighter and which is darker. For this exercise I used an image previously from assignment 3 of TAOP of a yellow market roof and the blue sky.
Then converted the image to black and white
The first image i adjusted the blue channel to darken the greytones and adjusted the yellow channel to lighten the greytones. This made the roof stand out against the dark sky.
The second image I brightened the sky which brought it to a very light grey and darkened the yellows. I didn’t adjust the yellows as much as with the other tones as it would make the roof too dark and lose the detail.
